Weightless Burden is a nine-hour durational performance carried out without interruption. Upon entering the space, visitors encounter the artist lying on the ground with a suitcase resting on her back. A video projection, playing continuously throughout the performance, shows rocks falling onto her body for hours. While the projected rocks leave no physical trace, their accumulation unfolds alongside the artist’s prolonged stillness. Bringing together the moving image and the live body, the work dwells on the relationship between weight, endurance, and the forms of labor that remain di cult to measure or see.
