Seeds of Grief emerged after I carried Arnavutköy strawberry seeds over my heart for a month without seeing signs of growth. I made the work to give physical form to the grief that followed. Using tweezers, I removed every seed from the surface of a strawberry, placed them one by one onto paper, and preserved them in epoxy.  rough this slow and repetitive gesture, loss became a small memorial. Each seed holds the possibility of a life whose outcome remains uncertain, preserving the care and hope that continued after the carrying performance ended.
